The South Dakota Occupational Therapy Association (SDOTA) is a professional organization dedicated to supporting the field of occupational therapy across our state. As a resource for occupational therapy practitioners and students, we strive to promote excellence in practice, support lifelong learning, and advocate for the health and well-being of individuals and our communities. 

Who We Are

SDOTA is a volunteer-driven, member-led organization made up of licensed occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and occupational therapy students. We are passionate about our profession and committed to creating opportunities for networking, growth, and collaboration among our members.

What We Do

• Professional Development: We provide continuing education opportunities, including annual conferences and webinars, to ensure our members remain informed and equipped to meet the evolving needs of clients and the healthcare system.

• Networking & Community: Through meetings and social events, we foster a sense of community and provide a space for sharing ideas, resources, and support.
